How to DEAL with Uncertainty Without Self-Sabotage

 

What if fear is the only thing standing between you and your dreams, your self-actualization?

 

The fear of the unknown or of uncertainty is seen as a fundamental fear, an evolutionary fear. The more we and our primeval ancestors could predict potential outcomes the more we were able to minimize our exposure to threats to our survival. So, we tend to feel very uncomfortable when we don’t feel a sense of control and predictability.

One of my own mental health issues stems from this very root: Where ambiguous situations or busy environments like a mall or a restaurant or a gathering, especially in enclosed spaces, can cause extreme levels of anxiety or stress or sensory overload for me.

It is one of the main roots for anxiety disorders and it can even lead to OCD type of behaviours or intrusive thought patterns or self-sabotaging behaviours.

Even a very negative certainty then feels better than a possible positive unknown outcome.

Uncertainty is to constantly feel torn or pulled in different directions and at the same time feeling stuck and trapped.

     

Archangel Raphael and Archangel Michael bring compassion and clearing where unforeseen events upset us a lot; where we experience a sense of frustrated helplessness and irritability when we feel that we don’t have all the information what we need or that the information is unreliable or confusing or conflicting; where we feel that we don’t understand the situation; where we experience conflicting choices; where we judge ourselves harshly when we aren’t able to foresee or organise in advance, when we are caught unprepared or off guard; where we froze when we are supposed to act or where we second-guess and then jump in front of the oncoming trauma or dilemma instead of out of the way, where the anxiety impairs our instinct or paralyses us; where even the smallest doubt leads to procrastination and inaction on our part. Thank you.

 

The Arcturians bring neurological soothing to our hyper-vigilant state, our hyper-active amygdala and the constant mental weighing of things in the light of their potential harmfulness to us, that we experience in the constant triggering of our anterior insula.

Where we might be in a safe environment now, but the unsafety of our past experiences still lingers on in our psyche and body.
