Mother Mary, Sophia and Archangels Jeremiel and Haniel bring compassion and healing where we are hesitant of commitment, because we are afraid of abandonment and rejection or where we are afraid that we will only be loved and accepted until the other person gets to know us better and see our authentic selves. This is also where this fear stems from the subconscious belief that we are not worthy of love and acceptance. That we are not really innately loveable. They soothe all past experiences that have cemented this belief for us, especially where we have communicated our needs and truths before and were shunned because of it.

 

They also show us where we react in avoidant ways and self-sabotaging ways, because of this wounded belief. This include instinctively focussing on the differences between us and the person or ruminating and fantasising about other past relationships and comparing those with this particular relationship; where we prematurely end relationships or ventures; where we seek connections outside of our current relationship or avoid relationships or projects and decisions altogether; where our thoughts continue to fuel our doubts and self-doubts and our fear of commitment and where we deep down hold the belief that relationships/ our relationships always fail and where we tend to keep secrets or not share relevant information with our loved ones or associates.

 

Archangel Jophiel brings compassion and sunlight healing where we do not commit, because we are afraid of possible conflict; where we are afraid of any anger/ unpleasantness directed at us and where we are afraid of and suppress our own anger or less societal acceptable emotions; or where we sometimes even lie or keep quiet to avoid possible conflict or negative reactions.

People-pleasing is a penchant to put the needs and opinions of others above our own. There are actually many different things that might cause this behaviour pattern: Where it is a result of trauma or abuse it is a defence mechanism where we attempt to appease or please the threatening person or situation as a way to protect ourselves. In this form people pleasing is actually fawning, one of the survival responses similar to fight or flight. We use this to avoid further abuse or conflict. Where our first instinct is to diffuse the situation and to appease the angry or unhappy or hurt person.
